PASSAIC — Police are investigating the shooting of a child and two adults on Friday night on Aspen Place and Columbia Avenue.
Police responded to the area at 7:20 p.m. on reports of shots fired, said the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the city’s Police Department. At the scene, the first responders found a 13-year-old, a 71-year-old woman and a 90-year-old man, all from Passaic, suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson and St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic.

Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
