With just two days left for the auction for the Indian Premier League 2025 to begin at Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah, there are many speculations about who may become the most expensive sold players this year.
In 2024 IPL Auction, Australian pacer Mitchell Starc was picked by Shah Rukh Khan-led franchise Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping ₹24.75 crores.
Among the 366 are Indian players and 208 are overseas cricketers finalised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for the IPL Auction 2025, there are many high probable candidates.
The list of uncapped players includes 318 Indians and 12 from outside India. All 10 teams in the auction will fill a total of 204 slots, including 70 overseas slots.
This time, the BCCI has set the lowest base price for players to be auctioned at ₹30 lakh, a hike of ₹10 lakh from previous time. Mallika Sagar, once again, has been entrusted with the job of conduction the auction in IPL 2025.
