63-year-old woman dies on a plane at Dallas-Fort Worth airport gate, officials say

A 63-year-old woman died Thursday morning on a commercial jet at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, officials said.

Mahasen Mohamed was pronounced dead shortly after 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 31, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website. The place of death is given as a commercial jet located at Gate 11 in Terminal D.

Mohamed’s cause and manner of death are not yet listed on the medical examiner’s site. She was a resident of Garland.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport Department of Public Safety responded to the incident.

Flightradar24, a website that tracks flights, shows that a Boeing 777 Qatar Airways flight from Doha landed at Gate 11 around that time.

More information about Mohamed’s death and the flight it occurred on was not immediately available.
