Are you ready for the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow?
If you’re antsy to get onboard Naval Air Station Pensacola Nov. 1 and 2 to see the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angels perform for the last time during the 2024 season, then you’ll get just a taste of the show two days prior when the Blues Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform a “Super Delta” formation over Pensacola.
NAS Pensacola announced the joint flyover will take place beginning at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and should be visible along the Gulf Coast as far west as Perdido Key through Oriole Beach.
“City of Pensacola areas at which the ‘Super Delta’ formation can be seen during the Wednesday, Oct. 30 spectacle include Johnson Beach, Pensacola Beach, Oriole Beach and Palafox Street in downtown Pensacola,” an NAS Pensacola release said. “Individuals traveling to these areas are advised to adhere to local traffic regulations and be courteous to drivers and pedestrians.”
NAS Pensacola says the time of the flyover is subject to change due to weather and other conditions.

The 2024 Pensacola Homecoming Airshow is scheduled to for Nov. 1 and 2 onboard NAS Pensacola and is themed “Celebrating One Small Step” in celebration of Apollo 11’s lunar landing on July 20, 1969, paying tribute to the first step on the moon by Navy pilot Lt. j.g. Neil Armstrong.
Gates for the show open at 8 a.m. Anyone arriving earlier will be subject to being turned around, according to NAS Pensacola.
