Brett Favre Mocked After Sharing God’s Supposed Electoral Map

Updated: 06-11-2024, 01.39 AM

Former football star Brett Favre was thoroughly mocked on social media Tuesday after sharing an Electoral College map that he claimed “would be the results” if “everyone put God first.”

It was basically a map of the United States with every state red to reflect support for the GOP and its fearless leader Donald Trump.

Although Favre is certainly entitled to his political and religious opinions, many people on X, formerly Twitter, turned his post into a subject of mockery.

That’s because Favre has done some things in his past that weren’t exactly the type of things that would typically make the man upstairs beam with pride.

For instance, back in 2010, Favre reportedlysent unsolicited naked photos to a 26-year-old woman who worked for his team at the time, the New York Jets.

More recently, Favre was accused of improperly siphoning millions of dollars meant for welfare recipients in Mississippi to build a volleyball court at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he and his daughter attended college.

Favre claimed he has been “unjustly smeared” by the accusations, but that didn’t stop people from bringing up both topics while trolling his post.

HuffPost reached out to God for comment, but no one immediately responded.
