Taking into account the specific needs of beneficiaries, the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy and the Croatian Employment Service implement a number of active employment policy measures aimed at encouraging employment, additional education of workers and retention of jobs.
OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Encouraging the employment of disadvantaged and extremely disadvantaged persons and persons with disabilities by co-financing the cost of wages for employers.
DURATION OF THE MEASURE: 12 months (disadvantaged persons) / 24 months (persons with disabilities)
AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY: monthly lump sum amount of support, regardless of the actual cost of the employer, in accordance with the level of education and the possibility of using the tax relief for the co-financed person

AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY: Up to 70% of total costs (up to HRK 15,000)
OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Encouraging the employment of persons by co-financing the cost of wages for employers.
DURATION OF THE MEASURE: as a rule 1 year, but not longer than 24 months
AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY: monthly lump sum amount of support, regardless of the actual cost of the employer, in accordance with the level of education and the possibility of using the tax relief for the co-financed person
OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Encouraging the employment of persons by co-financing the cost of wages for employers.
DURATION OF THE MEASURE: as a rule 1 year, but not longer than 24 months
AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY: monthly lump sum amount of support, regardless of the actual cost of the employer, in accordance with the level of education and the possibility of using the tax relief for the co-financed person
OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Enable participants to acquire practical knowledge and skills to perform tasks in a particular job or work in a particular occupation or to refresh skills that have been lost over time.
DURATION OF THE MEASURE: Up to 6 months
TYPE OF COST: up to HRK 18,000.00 per participant for the total duration of the training
OBJECTIVE OF THE MEASURE: Financial support to seasonal workers in the period when they are not working, in order to provide the necessary workforce for employers from all industries that experience periods of reduced workloads during the year due to the seasonal nature of their business.
DURATION OF THE MEASURE: 6 months
FINANCING OF THE MEASURE:
For the employer: 100% of the cost of extended insurance for the first 3 months, and 50% of extended insurance in the subsequent period of a maximum duration of 3 months.
Persons: Cash benefits are paid for a maximum of 6 months of extended pension insurance in the amount determined based on the calculation of unemployment benefits, and a maximum of 70% of the average salary paid in the Croatian economy for the first 90 days and 35% for the remaining period.
