Man, 79, and woman, 75, attacked in Manhattan: NYPD

SOHO, Manhattan (PIX11) – A 79-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman were attacked in Manhattan on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.

It happened on Canal Street in SoHo. A group of five men is accused of shoving both victims to the ground, police said.

The woman had injuries to her head, neck and torso while the man was injured in his back and ankle, according to authorities.

The group fled the scene going eastbound on Canal Street.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black and white baseball hat and a white T-shirt. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

The third suspect was last seen wearing a white and gray T-shirt, gray jeans and black sneakers. The fourth suspect was last seen wearing a black and red T-shirt and blue jeans.

The fifth suspect was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt, gray sweatpants with red and black stripes and blue sneakers.
