Michael Jordan’s Steak House in Oak Brook to shut down after seven years

OAK BROOK, Ill. (WGN) — Michael Jordan’s Steak House in west suburban Oak Brook is closing its doors for good by year’s end.

The restaurant, which opened in July 2017, announced its forthcoming closure on social media on Thursday. It thanked the public for an ‘incredible’ seven-year run and said its last day of operation is Saturday, Dec. 21.

The company said it wasn’t an easy decision and thanked patrons and staff for their support and dedication.

The inaugural Bulls Ring of Honor recipient’s steakhouse inside the Intercontinental Hotel on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile will remain open.

Other Michael Jordan’s Steak House restaurants remain operational globally, including Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Ilani Casino in Washington state and Inspire Resort in South Korea.
