Leaves ‘n Beans Coffee plans to open its new roastery at Evergreen Square on Oct. 25.
The new space — situated at 901 W. Lake Ave. in Peoria — comes to fruition after years of slowdowns and setbacks.
Owner James Cross discussed plans for the location earlier this year and said, “this place is meant to grow with us for the next 10 years.”
The front will feature a retail area with coffee, tea and other merchandise. In back, a vast space will house the roasting machine, a large walk-in cooler, a processing area, offices, storage and room to grow.
