Will one of America’s largest banks be opening their first Grand Strand location?

According to Chase spokeswoman for Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas, Allison Reed, the answer is yes.

As of Thursday, Reed said she didn’t have any details to share about the bank’s first Myrtle Beach branch yet, but confirmed the announcement.

The new branch will be located in the Grande Dunes area, at 8006 N Kings Hwy, near 79th Ave.

The location used to be the home of Brixx Wood Fired Pizza & Craft Bar, which is now permanently closed.

The new Chase Bank branch is currently under construction in the Grande Dunes area of Myrtle Beach. This will be the first Chase in the Grand Strand region.

Reed did not say when the new branch is expected to open.

This new branch will be the first branch in the Myrtle Beach area. The next current closest branches are located in Charleston and Columbia, the bank’s online ATM finder shows.

Last summer, Chase Bank announced in a news release their plans to expand by almost double from 48 branches at the time to over 100 in North and South Carolina by 2025.
