Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of sexual assault alongside ‘a male and female celebrity’ in new lawsuit; his attorneys seek gag order

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of sexual assault in seven new civil lawsuits, including one that claims other celebrities were involved in an alleged attack.

This is the latest wave of lawsuits from Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, who said on Oct. 1 that he and a team of lawyers would be filing 120 individual sexual assault lawsuits against Combs within the next month. Combs is still behind bars in New York as he awaits trial on federal racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. He pleaded not guilty.

Two of Combs’s accusers in the most recent lawsuits claim they were minors when they were allegedly drugged and raped by the rapper. This is the first time other celebrities have been mentioned as participants in a legal filing; however, they aren’t called out by name. Lawyers for the Bad Boy Records founder are hitting back.

Jane Doe claims she was 13 when she was sexually assaulted by Combs and another “male celebrity.” The incident allegedly occurred on Sept. 7, 2000, when she unsuccessfully tried to attend the MTV Video Music Awards.

Jane Doe could not get a ticket inside the awards show, and she claims a driver who worked for Combs invited her to an after-party. The girl allegedly signed a nondisclosure agreement so she could attend.

“Combs aggressively approached Plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her, and said, ‘You are ready to party!'” the lawsuit claims, per Deadline.

Jane Doe attests to having one drink but then was feeling “woozy and lightheaded.” She lay down in a bedroom, and soon after, Combs entered with “a male and female celebrity.”

Jane Doe alleges she was first raped by the male celebrity as Combs and the unidentified female watched. Then she claims she was raped by Combs as the other two stars looked on.

The woman says that after the alleged attack, she “fell into a deep depression which continues to affect every facet of her life.”

Combs has denied all wrongdoing through his attorneys.

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman,” his lawyers said in a statement last week.

Combs is accused of sexual assault in multiple separate incidents from 2000 to 2022 in the new wave of lawsuits.

One of the anonymous accusers is a personal trainer who alleged he was drugged and passed around “like a party favor for [Combs’s guests’] sexual enjoyment.” The incident allegedly occurred after Combs was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards in June 2022.

A 17-year-old aspiring singer alleged he was drugged and fondled by Combs during a New York City hotel penthouse party in 2022. A third man, identified only as a Los Angeles-area businessman, alleges he was sexually assaulted during a promotional event for Combs’s liquor brand Cîroc in 2022. One woman claims she was raped by Combs in 2014.

All lawsuits were filed using a John or Jane Doe pseudonym.

On Sunday, Combs’s attorneys filed a motion asking the judge to prevent “prospective witnesses and their lawyers” from speaking out, as it could hinder his right to a fair trial. The filing follows last week’s motion in which the entrepreneur’s lawyers requested his accusers in the federal case be publicly identified so he can mount a proper defense.

In an interview with People, the “Candy Shop” rapper defended how he’s been publicly trolling Combs.

“Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t. It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years,” 50 Cent said. He is in production on a documentary for Netflix surrounding Combs’s abuse allegations.

On Nov. 4, a federal appeals court will hear arguments on whether Combs should be freed from prison as he awaits trial. This is his third attempt at being released on bail.

Combs’s federal trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
