SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A road closure is in place Sunday morning after a semi-truck crash in Parley’s Canyon, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
At around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 27, a semi-truck heading westbound in Parley’s Canyon left the road and crashed into the concrete barrier near mile marker 130. The semi reportedly overturned and caught fire, becoming fully engulfed in flames.

Fire crews responded to put out the blaze as well as to mitigate a fuel spill.
Two individuals were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the crash. Police are currently investigating what may have caused the incident.
Westbound traffic is closed at this time.
