NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio (WJW) — If you’re speeding on state Route 10 this weekend, traffic cops will likely see you before you see them.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Aviation Division plans to have a plane in the air on Saturday, Nov. 9, targeting speeders and reckless drivers, according to a Thursday news release from North Ridgeville police.

They’ll be supported on the ground by North Ridgeville police.
There have been more than 400 crashes on state Route 10 in the last five years; one was fatal and 10 caused serious injury, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol crash statistics. Speeding was a factor in more than than 60 of those crashes.
